Planar Sophonts in Trigate parlance are beings who, as sophonts, and have spread their society and civilization across more than a single plane. All sophonts that are members of the Planar Council would be considered a Planar Sophont then, as opposed to being such as the Cranifer that may exist across a numerous number of worlds but have failed to create any meaningful civilization that extends beyond a singular plane.
