Planar Sophonts in Trigate parlance are beings who possess the level of intelligence to be considered a sophont and have spread their society, culture, and civilization across more than a single plane. All sophonts that are members of the [[Planar Council]] would be considered a Planar Sophont. Beings such as the [[Terrus/Cranifer|Cranifer]], who exist across a numerous number of planes but have failed to create any meaningful civilization on any world wouldn't qualify for this categorization.

All sophonts that are members of the [[Planar Council]] would be considered a Planar Sophont then, as opposed to being such as the [[Terrus/Cranifer|Cranifer]] that may exist across a numerous number of worlds but have failed to create any meaningful civilization that extends beyond a singular plane.

Beings such as the Cranifer, who exist across a numerous number of planes but have failed to create any meaningful civilization on any world wouldn't qualify for this categorization.
