This is the page for the Trigate Lifeform category.
Lifeforms are divided into three types:
- Flora, which are non-intelligent plants. This includes algae, herbs, trees, fungi, et cetera.
- Fauna, which are non-intelligent animals. This includes microbial life, creatures, beasts, monsters et cetera.
- Sophonts, which are intelligent beings.
Intelligence in this regard is more along the lines of a capability for developing advanced aspects of culture, as even non-intelligent creatures can be, in fact, very smart. Lifeforms are further classified by their morphology and their typoid, supernatural or econatural status, and other determinations.
